• Product Description Pagodas from early traditional architecture, self-contained temple buildings with 3 floors, symbolizing spiritual tranquility, harmony and source of energy, were the inspiration for the PAGODE NAGURI stool. Its wooden structure is inspired by the ancient Japanese wood-splintering technique naguri, whose geometric principle creates random patterns. A narrow base supports the handcrafted oak stool. Its oiled wood features a smooth surface with a silky feel. The high-quality upholstery fabric is woven from two different coloured wool threads in a traditional herringbone technique. The custom-made upholstery square sits firmly anchored in the wooden body.
